How to play the Sparkle Spelling Game
Each child stands in front of their desk. The teacher gives a word from the spelling list. When it is the next child's turn they give the next letter of the word. The next gives the next letter etc, until the word is spelled. After the last letter the teacher points to the next child and says "Sparkle" So each student takes one letter at a time, but if someone says the wrong letter the one who has the next turn needs to correct it. If they don't the next child needs to do the fixing and if that doeon't happen the teacher just sparkles them and game continues. The one left standing gets a sparkle treat from the treat box. We play a few rounds of the game but the winners have to sit out and they can read or draw.
